An exciting opportunity has arisen at Stoke City Football Club of the English Football League for the position of Player Pathway Coordinator for the Community Trust. This role will be based at the bet365 Stadium and other facilities as needed.
Reporting to the Football Development Manager, you will hold a pivotal role within the Football Development team. You will collaborate with colleagues to execute the Trust's vision and mission, ensuring that all initiatives are in line with the Club’s strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all programmes that are part of the Community Trust’s Player Pathway.
Main Responsibilities
* Planning, delivering and supporting a range of high quality coaching sessions.
* Maintaining a strong working knowledge of the current trends and opportunities for fundraising and pricing within football.
* Working collaboratively with the Community Trust’s senior management team to plan, deliver and review the Player Pathway and Football Development programmes.
* Coordinating delivery of the Player Pathway on all Football Development programmes and Community Trust programmes where required.
* Developing collaborative working partnerships with local authorities, clubs, leagues, schools, parents/carers, venues and other facility providers to grow the Player Pathway and Football Development programmes.
Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications
* A passion for developing participants and programmes.
* Managing challenging and pressured situations.
* Excellent communication and IT skills.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Being able to work both individually and as part of a team.
* Able to efficiently delegate role and responsibilities.
* Experience of working towards targets and deadlines.
* Minimum UEFA B coaching football or equivalent.
* First aid and Safeguarding qualifications.
The successful candidate must be available to work evenings and weekends to cover matchday fixtures and other ad hoc events at the bet365 Stadium and across the Trust’s geographical area as required.
The position will be offered on a full time permanent basis.
