Role Description: In line with our global strategy and purpose, we have an exciting opportunity to join the UK Transformation Programme as a Senior Business Analyst on a 2-year Fixed Term Contract. You will help shape and implement the target operating model for our Commercial business, aiming to transform the end-to-end experience for policyholders, intermediaries, and internal users through modernising core systems, data-led digital assets, and integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead or support the scoping of change initiatives within the Transformation Programme, following the Business Analysis Framework.
* Support other Programme Business Analysts to ensure quality and excellence in analysis.
* Engage with stakeholders at all levels to elicit, define, and manage business requirements with clear traceability.
* Ensure requirements are understood and approved, supporting change control and prioritisation.
* Assist in developing, testing, and implementing solutions, working closely with solution partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.
* Participate in retrospectives and lessons learned to continuously improve.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Experience working on medium to large change projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
* Proficiency in eliciting requirements and achieving stakeholder consensus through various analysis techniques.
* Experience creating Epics and User Stories using Confluence and Jira.
* Understanding of Use Cases, Value Streams, and Personas.
* Ability to apply industry-standard modelling techniques, including data modelling and BPMN.
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
* Flexible, adaptive approach with an agile mindset.
* Level education or equivalent.
Desirable Skills:
* Knowledge of Business Change support activities.
* Experience in Financial Services, especially Commercial General Insurance.
* BCS Diploma in Business Analysis or equivalent.
