About Barton Moss Nursery
Barton Moss Nursery is one of Salford’s local authority nurseries and is looking for competent, resilient, patient and dedicated early years practitioners. We pride ourselves on looking after our staff and children. We offer a range of hours which may vary by location, but we ask that you are available to work between 8am and 6pm. You may be asked to cover at other settings located in Belvedere, Higher Broughton, Little Hulton and Winton.
Your role and responsibilities
You will be expected to promote an inclusive environment that is warm, welcoming and stimulating to encourage the development of children to reach their full potential. You will implement the Early Years Foundation Stage and contribute to development of plans to support the delivery of individual learning programmes for children. You will receive hands-on experience and your skills and experience will be a valuable asset to the team.
Qualifications
A relevant Early Years Qualification at a minimum of Level 3 is required.

Development and induction
You will receive a full induction across all sites and access to the Starting Life Well training programme, through which you will be supported to achieve a Paediatric First Aid Qualification within three months of starting with us.

DBS and overseas checks
This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. You will be required to meet the cost of the DBS check (currently £49.50). The payment will be deducted from your first four months’ salary (£12.38/month). If you do not commence employment but DBS has been processed, you will be invoiced for £49.50.
