Team / Directorate: Recruitment and Resourcing Team
Starting salary: £41,132 rising to £44,988 per annum through annual increments being paid each year (pro rata for part time applicants).
Contract type: Permanent
Work pattern: Full time, 37 hours per week (Part time, annualised hours, compressed hours or term time working considered - discussions at interview stage welcome).

The role As the Early Careers and Talent Advisor at Natural Resources Wales, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering our ambitious early careers strategy, aligned with our resourcing action plan. This specialist position offers the opportunity to lead the development of policies, tools and initiatives that establish NRW as an employer of choice, while helping to attract, develop and retain emerging talent.
You will work closely with the Strategic Resourcing Management Team Leader and stakeholders across the organisation to design and implement graduate, undergraduate, industrial placement and apprenticeship programmes. Building strong partnerships with schools, colleges and universities, you will provide strategic guidance and support to managers hosting placements, ensuring a positive and rewarding experience.
With oversight of the full recruitment lifecycle for early careers and a contribution to our wider People Transformation Programme, this is a pivotal role for someone passionate about nurturing future talent and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
As an organisation we support flexible working. You will be contracted to the nearest NRW office to your home and a suitable hybrid working pattern will be agreed on appointment. Any regular face to face meetings or training will be planned in advance.
