Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene on site in our office block and porta cabins. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and reliability are highly valued. Please note due to the environment this job can be cold during winter months.
Location is remote, there are no footpaths so ideally you would need some sort of transport to site.
Duties
* Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
* Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, communal areas and wash rooms
* Ensure waste disposal is handled efficiently and responsibly
* Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
* Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
* Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding cleaning requirements or issues
* Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
* Report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to management
Qualifications
* Basic proficiency in English for effective communication
* Previous experience in cleaning or related roles is advantageous but not essential
* Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Driving licence is desirable for location is on remote and there are no footpaths
* Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and visitors
* Excellent communication skills to coordinate tasks effectively and report issues clearly
