We have a great opportunity to join the team as a Loss Prevention Team Officer working for a well-known company in Kent.
The rate of the pay is £16.81 per hour.
This is a full-time role. You will be working a 42-hour week, working 4 days on 4 off and 4 nights 4 off basis and the shifts are 12 hours. This means you need to be flexible to work Monday to Sunday.
Your Time at Work
As a Security Officer, you will ensure the safety of our customers, staff, their buildings, and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.
It's a varied role and your duties will include the following:
- Ensuring that irregular patrols ensuring that all areas of pfizer space are checked regularly.
- Assisting in the implementation of response plans in an emergency.
- Act as the incident controller in the event of an Incident
- Responsible for recording the details of an incident and communicating them to the Control Room to ensure that all incidents are effectively recorded in the absence of the Team Leader
- Maintaining records of allocated responsibility; Keys, Fire Doors, LPT Vehicle etc.
- Supporting the delivery of estate improvement projects which may have security implications.
- Operational competence in the use of S2 system
- Able to carry out on-site and Europe security badging
- Carrying out basic fire safety checks
- Monitoring business critical systems and identify faults and escalate as appropriate.
- Carrying out the role of Incident Controller at an Incident
- Maintaining a First Responder Qualification
- Providing site induction training for all contractors
- Supervision of the site security team
- Carrying out irregular foot patrols of all Pfizer space to ensure that the space is secure and in good order.
- Monitoring CCTV and Alarm systems to ensure the safety and security of the Pfizer sites.
- Escorting visitors, Control Drug shipments and site contractors in restricted space.
- Ensuring that only authorised personnel are admitted to site utilising the S2 system.
- Retrieving any articles discovered during patrols and secure them using the correct procedure.
- Supporting initiatives to improve security and safety on site.
- Safekeeping and issuing of keys.
- Communicating and reporting any breaches of site security and Health and Safety.
Our Perfect Worker
You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key.
The successful candidate will hold a valid SIA Licence and have experience working in the security industry.
You must have a driving license and access to your own vehicle.
