Our client, a reputable independent automotive service centre based in Cheltenham, is seeking a skilled and experienced Workshop Manager to oversee daily operations and lead a dedicated team in a busy light commercial vehicle specialist workshop. * Competitive salary between £36,000 and £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Duties:
* Managing and scheduling the workshop diary efficiently as a Workshop Manager
* Overseeing and performing mechanical repairs, servicing, diagnostics, and vehicle preparation core responsibilities of the Workshop Manager role
* Ordering parts and liaising with suppliers to ensure smooth workshop operations
* Handling customer queries and inbound calls related to workshop services
* Issuing accurate invoices and managing workshop administration
* Leading and motivating the workshop team to meet targets and uphold high standards
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with supervisory or managerial skills suitable for a Workshop Manager position
* Ability to produce high-quality work efficiently within a busy workshop environment
* Strong leadership, team motivation, and customer service skills
* IT literacy and familiarity with workshop management systems
* Valid UK driving license with minimal points
* Experience in light commercial vehicle repairs and diagnostics is preferred
* Proactive attitude and commitment to team development
