Semi Senior Accountant
Music Accountancy Practice | Central London | Hybrid Working
Salary: Up to £45,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Semi Senior Accountant to join a well-established and growing music accountancy practice based in the heart of London. Working with a portfolio of high-profile and emerging artists, managers, and music businesses, this role offers hands-on exposure, variety, and genuine career progression.
The Role
You will support a diverse client base across the music and entertainment sector, delivering high-quality accounting and financial support while building strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing management accounts and assisting with year-end accounts
* Supporting tour accounting and budget vs actual analysis
* Preparing commission statements and reconciliations
* Assisting with bookkeeping, VAT returns, and cash flow forecasting
* Liaising directly with clients, managers, and other stakeholders
* Supporting senior team members with ad-hoc finance and reporting work
About You
* Part-qualified ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) or qualified by experience
* Background in accountancy practice (essential)
* Strong technical accounting foundations and attention to detail
* Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
* Interest in music, media, or entertainment is highly desirable
* Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software preferred
