Our client, a reputable company based in Portsmouth, is actively seeking a skilled LCV Technician to join their professional team.

Conduct detailed inspections, maintenance, and repairs on vans across various brands
Follow manufacturer repair procedures and complete job cards accurately
Remove, refit, and replace parts efficiently and to a high standard
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, applying analytical problem-solving skills
Perform safety checks and mechanical inspections on incoming vehicles
Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
Ensure all work is completed within specified timeframes and quality standards
Support team members to foster a productive and collaborative working environmentRequirements for a LCV Technician:
Proven experience as a LCV Technician or similar role within the automotive industry
Strong mechanical and electrical fitting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid MOT Tester’s qualification (Class 4/5/7) or willingness to undergo training
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Adaptability to fast-paced work environments and changing priorities
Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations in the workshop
Flexibility to work early or late shifts as required, including occasional Saturdays
