First Military Recruitment is currently seeking a Parts Assistant on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel; however, all candidates will be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Issue parts to workshop and engineers
2. Handle incoming parts requests and enquiry calls
3. Manage parts returns to the Parts Department
4. Conduct stocktaking
5. Identify parts accurately
6. Order parts as needed
7. Sourcing of parts
8. Assist with quotations
9. Problem solving (e.g., incorrect parts supplied)
10. Ensure stock is promptly replenished by checking parts booked on job sheets
11. Assist with parts filing
12. Perform general administration for the Service Team
13. Perform any other reasonable duties within your skills and scope as required
Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience or knowledge of parts department operations
* Excellent telephone manner
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
