Training Officer - Children and Families Systems Team
Grade 12: £50,085-£52,194 | Permanent – 36 hours per week | Hybrid (3 office days / 2 wfh days)
Job Purpose
The objective of this role is to deliver high quality training and guidance in regards to the Children’s systems and to develop and deliver a training programme for social workers, early help practitioners, business support and managers to ensure that they can use and get the most out of the children’s systems (EHM and CRS). The successful candidate will lead on the training function to a wide range of stakeholders to improve the quality of case recording and case management through training. You will support the development of processes and practice in relation to the development of CRS and associated practices and drive compliance with established policies, procedures and standards with respect to case management.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver training programmes for social workers, early help practitioners, business support staff and managers.
* Improve quality of case recording and case management through training.
* Support development of processes and practice relating to CRS and associated practices.
* Drive compliance with policies, procedures and standards in case management.
* Work out of regular hours and be available for out‑of‑hours support, including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications and Experience
* Excellent knowledge of children’s social care and early help process and Liquid Logic Children’s systems (CRS and EHM).
* Understanding of national policy, strategy and developments regarding children’s social care, DV, child development, assessment, parenting and early help.
* Experience of delivering training programmes is essential.
* Ability to develop and deliver a training programme to transform services and practice.
* Excellent project management and leadership skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
* Experience in influencing others to improve outcomes for children.
