A unique and long‑established organisation in Bath is seeking a Part‑Time Accountant to oversee and manage its day‑to‑day financial operations.
Your new role
1. Purchase Ledger duties (processing invoices, cheque/payment authorisation, filing invoices, POs, expenses, etc.)
2. Raising invoices
3. Preparation of monthly payroll information
4. Accounts to trial balance using Sage
5. Filing returns
6. Assisting in the production of quarterly and year-end balance sheets
7. Assisting with annual budget setting
8. Minute-taking at finance meetings
9. Liaising with external third parties
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in a similar role and demonstrate a proactive, self‑motivated approach to their work.
You will be a strongmunicator with the ability to build effective relationships and rapport with both internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
