SEN Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support - KS1 - North London A supportive and inclusive primary school in North London is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a short-term basis, working 1:1 with a Key Stage 1 pupil with Autism and communication needs. The SEN Teaching Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the pupil's access to learning and emotional development throughout the school day. The SEN Teaching Assistant will need to be confident in using visual strategies, showing patience and resilience, and have a calm, nurturing approach. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to tailor support based on the pupil's individual education plan. This SEN Teaching Assistant role is expected to continue until July 2025, with a strong possibility of being extended into a long-term contract from September 2025.
