The Faculty of Science, Agriculture and Engineering is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Education Assistant to join the SAgE Faculty Professional Services team based within the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Physics. You will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth and effective running of the School's undergraduate programmes. Your duties will span the full student lifecycle from recruitment, registration, assessment, and progression to graduation. You will also be responsible for coordinating key academic committees and processes with particular responsibility for the School's examination procedures. We are looking for an individual with strong interpersonal skills, which will help you relate to our students, academic colleagues, and senior stakeholders. You should also be adept in organising, prioritising, and managing time effectively to ensure the smooth delivery of education administration. You should have a keen eye for detail and look to identify and implement improvements wherever possible. Working with a variety of stakeholders, you will demonstrate initiative, efficiency, attention to detail and a willingness to be flexible to support the wider team. The is a full-time, open-ended (permanent) contract (37 hours per week), with an estimated start date of Mid-May 2024.
