Skylight Psychiatry is a forward thinking, dynamic mental health service. We are a CQC registered service delivering person-centred assessment, care and support, with our ultimate aim being to improve the lives of people with neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD, Autism and Learning disabilities.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurse to join our friendly and supportive team.
The successful candidate will be based in Manchester, administering ADOS assessments in person.
The role will involve working from home to complete documentation and support other aspects of the service.
Completion of in person and virtual ADHD assessments may also be required, depending on service demand.
The successful candidate will share our visions and values, and have an understanding or passion for working with neurodivergent individuals.
Responsibilities
* Undertake in person ADOS assessments (6 per week)
* Preparation of reports within the required timeframes
* Attend and contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings
* Attend monthly management supervision with a member of the senior management team
* Support service improvement activities under the direction of the Clinical Lead and/or Clinical Director
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in patient record systems, clinical reports and other associated documentation
* Present and share relevant information with colleagues
* Support and contribute to the training and support of other staff
* Any other duties as deemed to be within the scope of the role
Essential Requirements
* Must be NMC registered
* Must be ADOS trained
* 1 year experience in conducting ADOS module 4
* 2 years’ experience in diagnosis and/or management of neurodevelopmental conditions
* Proficient computer skills
* Excellent organisational skills
* Problem solving skills and ability to work on own initiative
* Attention to detail
* Flexible and ability to adapt to the needs of the service
* Skilled communicator
* Good understanding of data confidentiality
* Good understanding of risk assessment, management and dealing with safeguarding concerns

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £42,500.00 per year
Schedule: Flexitime - Monday to Friday
Experience: ADOS: 1 year (MUST)
Licence/Certification: NMC (MUST)
