Job Description An exciting, zero emissions, UK Energy business is seeking a Chief Sales Officer (CSO), they are based in Northeast England, however they are open to both hybrid and flexible working options.
Reporting into the CEO you will drive growth, further develop their sales strategy, lead and grow the sales team and report on progress to the board.
Duties include:
Implementing and evolving their sales strategy processes.
Lead business development, securing new clients and maximising opportunities with existing clients.
Responsibility for delivering their sales targets.
Building successful relationships across the business, maximising cohesion ensuring clients receive excellent customer service.
Reporting monthly KPIs to the CEO.
Manage, support, monitor and grow the sales function, ensuring the team are motivated and successful.
Candidates MUST have:
Proven track record in a sales leadership role, both in a business development and a people management capacity.
Experience selling B2B solutions in the energy sector, ideally in the renewable energy space.
Demonstrable experience of hitting your sales targets and successfully growing sales teams.
Proven track record of selling products within a lengthy and complicated decision-making process.
