There are three substantive sessions available from 1st August 2025 and one substantive session available from 1st October 2025. Full registration with the GMC with a licence to practise is required, and Entry on the GP Specialist Register (or equivalent) is essential. Should the appointee not hold right of residence in the UK sponsorship will be required.
These sessions are suitable for individuals contracted to work within GP practices, offering the opportunity to develop a specialised interest in dermatology
Appointment:
This a substantive, part time GP clinical assistant post at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, based in the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.Specifically, the sessions available are to support urgent suspected cancer clinics as follows:o Wednesday am - 9:00-12:30 - 1 session available from 1st August 2025 and 1 session available from 1st October 2025 o Wednesday pm - 13:30-17:00 - 2 sessions available from 1st August 2025
Main duties of the job

The appointee will work within the dermatology department at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. The duties of the post will be contributing to the departments Urgent Suspected Cancer super-clinic that runs on Wednesdays, with a mix of clinician types under consultant supervision seeing new patients referred on an Urgent Suspected Cancer pathway.
