Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapy Clinical Support Worker
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the NHS Fife Acute Services Division, Occupational Therapy (OT) service. We are looking for an experienced Clinical Support Worker to work with the OT service in the Palliative Care Team.
Role Overview
As an OT Clinical Support Worker (CSW), Band 4, you will carry an independent caseload under supervision. Your intervention will focus on promoting independent living skills, effective symptom management, and equipment provision and delivery.
The majority of OT interventions take place within hospitals and hospices, but you may also visit patients’ homes to deliver and fit equipment, requiring the ability to travel throughout Fife.
Key Responsibilities
* Work within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
* Manage a range of duties with palliative and oncology clients.
* Collaborate with Physiotherapy colleagues, sharing skills and roles as needed.
* Conduct assessments and treatments independently to a high standard.
Qualifications and Experience
* Relevant HNC and/or SVQ Level 3 or evidence of working towards these qualifications, or relevant training and experience.
* Extensive health or social care experience in an OT or related environment.
