The school is now seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their supportive team this March.
Role Overview
As a HLTA, you will work closely with class teachers to enhance learning across the curriculum. You’ll deliver targeted support to individuals and groups, contribute to lesson preparation, and help maintain an engaging, inclusive classroom environment where all pupils are encouraged to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
* Support teachers in planning and delivering exciting, purposeful lessons.
* Deliver tailored one-to-one and small-group learning sessions.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
* Provide pastoral support to pupils, promoting emotional wellbeing.
* Prepare resources and monitor pupil progress effectively.
* Lead targeted interventions for pupils with additional needs.
* Communicate confidently with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.

* HLTA qualification or substantial experience in a similar role.
* A genuine passion for supporting children’s academic and personal development.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff.
