About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Cash & Billing Team Leader to join our Finance team at our Business Services Centre in Caerphilly. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that cash is accurately allocated and billing is completed right first time, supporting the overall financial health and control of the business.
As Team Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Cash & Billing team, ensuring deadlines are achieved, performance is monitored against KPIs, and efficiencies and continuous improvements are delivered. Your leadership will be instrumental in enabling the team to meet its objectives while maintaining high standards of internal and external customer service.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited)
1. Lead, coach, and support the Cash & Billing team to meet deadlines and optimise performance
2. Set clear expectations and priorities, ensuring key tasks and objectives are communicated effectively
3. Monitor and manage performance against KPIs, taking action where required
4. Implement and maintain robust processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience
5. Complete daily general ledger postings from bank clearing accounts
6. Manage weekly reconciliations and customer portals
7. Liaise proactively with internal departments and site personnel to resolve queries and issues
