This role is based from our AFH Cookham office.As our Paraplanner you will typically:Participate in and delivering comprehensive financial research, within set SLAs, on products and investments on an independent basis using company-approved research toolsPrepare and delivering bespoke investment reports, within set SLAs, to clients through the analysis of existing investment portfolios and comparison against suitable benchmarksPrepare and interpreting complex plan information with a view to completing transfer analysisPrepare complex financial planning reports, within set SLAs, in multiple financial planning areasResearch and review, where necessary, new and existing legislation and technical/product information to aid in the role that is performedParticipating in firm research projects, adhering to set deadlines, as and if required.What we are looking for in our ideal Paraplanner:Diploma in Financial PlanningDemonstration of knowledge, interest and experience in personal financial planning and in the construction of financial planning research and suitability reportsExperience in an IFA environment, demonstrating quality communications of constructive feedbackA high standard of written and numerical skillsAn ability to demonstrate strong report-writing skillsA high level of accuracy and attention to detailAptitude in Microsoft Office.Key Risk Responsibilities:Completion of assigned tasks, ensuring that SLAs are adhered toDelivery of accurate and thorough research, calculations, New Business Investment Reports and FPRs to advisersContribution into technical and regulatory development of advisers and/or staff on a specific case basisContribution into technical and regulatory development of Trainee ParaplannersThorough research conducted where necessary and referring to Senior team members, where necessary.To learn more about this opportunity and the culture of AFH Wealth Management, please visit our Careers website https://www.afhwm.co.uk/careers/ or email the People Resourcing team via.
