This is a day shift role Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm.This role combines hands-on electrical engineering support with leadership of continuous improvement (CI), preventative maintenance strategies, and engineering projects across a high-volume food production environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in reducing downtime, improving asset reliability, driving engineering standards, and supporting operational performance.They will facilitate knowledge transfer to both maintenance and operations staff by training and coaching.Key AccountabilitiesEnsure all engineering activities are carried out in accordance with Legal & Company Standards.Compile Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and Standard Operating Procedures.Statutory checks, audits of toolboxes, priority risk areas and jobsManage ContractorsCarry out Priority Risk AuditsParticipate and lead improvement activities with teamsLiaise with Shift teams to understand recent failure modes on plant.Absence cover for managersThe Right PersonRecognised Engineering apprenticeship - Level 3 ElectricalMinimum of 3 years experience as a skilled engineer18th IET Wiring Regulations .A dual Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship would be desirable.Problem solving and fault diagnosis.Experience with PLCsTo be considered for this role you will be redirected to and must complete the application process on our careers page.
