Overview
We are looking to appoint a full-time Facilities Portering Supervisor on a full-term contract to lead and manage the Porters within the Portering Service at BCHC Foundation Trust. The vacancy will be based predominantly at Moseley Hall Hospital, with the possibility of covering other sites as needed. We are one team and our service must continue for the well-being of patients. You will receive a comprehensive training package and support, with uniforms provided.

Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Porters within the Portering Service, ensuring high standards of service delivery and patient care.
* Cover other sites across the BCHC network as required by service demand.
* Attend necessary training courses and adhere to Infection Prevention and Control policies and relevant National and Trust policies and procedures.
* Work with the Team Leader and Service Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and a supportive team environment.
* Adhere to BCHC vision, values and professional standards across all activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Good standard of education to GCSE level and understanding of verbal and written English. Basic literacy and numeracy skills are requirements for this job.
* Medical Gas training is required and will be provided.
Additional Information
* All staff are expected to attend necessary training and comply with infection prevention and control policies and other relevant policies/procedures.
* Monday to Sunday: 37.5 hours per week (pro rata) including day and night duty, weekends and Bank Holidays.
