Role and Location
Delivery Postie with Driving. Job reference: 330516. Location: Hounslow Delivery Office, TW3 1AA. Job type: Permanent contract. Hours: 30 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday to Sunday, between 8:00 and 20:00 (6 hours per day). Due to operational demand, you may be required to work Sundays on a rota basis between 9:00 and 15:00 and you may be required to work from other Delivery Offices in the area.
What you’ll do
* Deliver mail and parcels to customers and businesses as part of your local community.
* Work outdoors in all weather; be physically active as part of a postal delivery role.
* Deliver for your local community and contribute to the trusted doorstep service Royal Mail provides.
* Occasional assignments may require working across different Delivery Offices in the area.

* Happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather
* Has a strong sense of community and takes pride in what you do
* Has a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

* A guaranteed hourly rate of £15.50 per hour (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours if part time)
* Paid overtime, with an enhanced rate of x1.25 for more than 40 hours a week
* 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (adjusted to your working hours if part time) and the option to buy extra leave each year
