A Southampton office of an award-winning Hampshire Law firm require a Residential Conveyancing Assistant to join their busy Residential Conveyancing Team.
The Firm
A multi-office law firm employing over 100 staff across several locations. The firm has a loyal client base, providing a solid foundation for organic growth. They pride themselves on delivering quality service, reflected in awards received, and offer legal advice across various disciplines to businesses and individuals.
The Role
The Residential Conveyancing Assistant will undertake extensive file administration, including:
1. Dealing with the return of client's initial instructions
2. Handling all compliance requirements and checks
3. Preparing contract documentation
4. Undertaking property searches
5. Dealing with exchanges of contracts
6. Making SDLT applications
The Candidate
An experienced Conveyancing Assistant with at least 1 year of experience in residential post-conveyancing matters. The successful candidate will be very well organized.
Salary is dependent upon experience.
