Band 6 Advanced Clinical, Paediatric Cardiac Physiologist
37 hrs per week – fixed term 15 months.
We are excited to announce an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven cardiac physiologist to join our vibrant team at the Royal Hospital for Children. We welcome applications from both qualified paediatric and adult cardiac physiologists who are eager to advance their careers in paediatric cardiology.
We seek a physiologist who will actively support and promote positive changes within our department. This role is ideal for individuals committed to continuous development and dedicated to providing the highest quality of patient care.
As the Scottish centre for cardiac surgery and interventional cardiology, the Royal Hospital for Children also hosts the paediatric ECMO centre for Scotland.
Applicants should hold a degree in Cardiac Physiology or an equivalent qualification with relevant post qualification experience. The working hours for this post are variable, depending on whether the role is over 4 or 5 days.
This post requires PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland Check.
Please be advised that, effective 1 April 2026, the full-time working hours for all Agenda for Change posts will be reduced to 36 hours.
