Machine Operative - Nights

We're seeking skilled Machine Operatives who are hardworking, have strong communication skills, and can meet manufacturing deadlines within a team environment. Previous experience in an FMCG/Food Manufacturing setting, working with machinery, is essential.
Position Details
* Type: Full-time, Permanent
* Hours: 36 per week
* Shift Pattern: Monday - Saturday, 3 on 4 off, 18:00 - 06:00 (12-hour night shift)
* Pay Range: £15.57 starting, up to £16.62/hour
* Breaks: 3 x 20 minutes paid
Responsibilities
1. Assist in the safe, efficient, and accurate operation of factory machinery such as roasting and frying machines.
2. Perform process control checks on machinery.
3. Accurately complete paperwork related to production processes.
4. Report machinery breakdowns and collaborate with the Engineering team for repairs.
5. Liaise with quality teams and supervisors regarding any anomalies during operation.
6. Ensure safety, legality, and high standards within the production facility.
7. Manual handling and lifting of ingredients up to 25kg.
8. Understand food safety standards; prior training such as Food Safety Level 2 is beneficial but training will be provided.
9. Operate machinery effectively and safely.
10. Maintain good communication skills, both oral and written.
