About the Role:
We are working with a number of inclusive and supportive secondary schools who are seeking Teaching Assistants to provide 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support students in the classroom to access the curriculum
* Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored learning strategies
* Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
* Provide emotional and behavioural support where needed
* Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
What We're Looking For:
* Experience working with children or young people (school-based or alternative settings)
* A genuine interest in supporting students with SEN
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, empathy, and resilience
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, Psychology degree) are desirable but not essential
