Water Hygiene Engineer Location: London & surrounding Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 + benefits
About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join a forward-thinking and growing organisation within the water and air hygiene sector. This role involves attending client sites to deliver high-quality services, ensuring full compliance with industry standards and maintaining excellent client relationships.
You will be responsible for a designated portfolio of sites, providing consistency in service delivery while identifying opportunities to enhance systems and support ongoing compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain a portfolio of client sites
* Deliver water hygiene services in line with ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidelines
* Carry out closed system maintenance in line with PPM schedules (heating, chilled, and closed systems)
* Conduct temperature monitoring, water sampling, and tank inspections
* TMV servicing, shower descaling, and outlet flushing
* Ensure site logbooks are accurate, up to date, and audit-ready
* Identify and report system risks, improvements, and upsell opportunities
* Work closely with account managers and client site teams
Requirements:
* Practical knowledge of ACoP L8 & HSG274
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to travel across multiple sites
* Confident working at height and in confined spaces (training provided)
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
* Closed system knowledge is highly desirable
