Strawberry How Nursery School Limited are looking for a Early Years Practitioner to join their team! Are you enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about working with young children? This could be a role for you! Our private nursery is purpose-built, and all our rooms enjoy ground level free flow play, we have a separate dining room and there is a separate staffroom. We also have a specialist unit that cares for babies. With regard to this apprenticeship post duties are typical of those associated with a day nursery and involve caring for our children in one of our three areas - Caterpillars (up to 2yrs), Butterflies (2-3yrs) and Squirrels (3yrs). The role As an apprentice, you’ll be fully supported and trained while taking on hands-on responsibilities, including: Planning and delivering engaging activities Preparing snacks and simple meals Supporting with nappy changes and toileting Assisting the room leader Caring for a small group of children Skills and Personal Qualities We value team members who are: A strong team player Passionate about early childhood development A good communicator Organised and reliable Loving, and caring Working Hours Monday to Friday (Hours to be discussed with the nursery) Salary £7.55 per hour On successful completion of the apprenticeship, there will be an opportunity to progress within the nursery, subject to performance.
