This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours as required between 08:00 and 16:00 over a 5-day period.
Main duties of the job
As a Maintenance Electrician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the reliable operation of our hospitals. Your responsibilities will include:
* Electrical Maintenance: Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide range of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, power distribution, and emergency systems.
* Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults efficiently to minimize downtime and disruption.
* Technical Support: Providing expert technical advice and assistance to colleagues and clients.
* Safety Compliance: Adhering to strict safety regulations and industry best practices.

* To carry out a range of repairs, installation works, and planned maintenance on a multi-trade basis requiring specialist knowledge across various work procedures and practices.
* To diagnose and repair electrical faults on engineering installations, plant, and equipment.
* Act as team leader as required, coordinating/directing the work of others.
* To undertake training and development to increase your knowledge and capabilities.
* To undertake complex work of a multi-trade nature.
* To use skills beyond the core trades to aid diagnosis and maintenance, including installation, maintenance, and testing of medical gases and associated equipment.
