Site Engineer - Infrastructure (Cambridgeshire)

As a Site Engineer, you'll play a central part in delivering high‑quality construction works across your section of the project. Supported by an experienced Section Engineer and wider engineering team, you'll be trusted to plan, oversee, and ensure compliance across all site activities.

Role and Responsibilities
Collaborating daily with engineers, supervisors, designers, and client representatives
Identifying and reporting Non‑Conformances, ensuring timely close‑out
Preparing temporary works briefs to a standard approved by senior engineering staff
Reviewing technical designs, identifying queries, and seeking clarification where needed
Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications for your section
Helping to deliver Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) to maintain quality on siteCandidate Requirements
A degree in Civil Engineering (or HND/HNC equivalent)
Experience on highways or major construction projects (ideal but not essential)
Progressing toward or already holding a professional industry qualification
Strong digital competency with modern engineering tools
Health, Safety & Environmental training
A full UK driving licence
