Job Description
Market-Leading Digital Credit Firm | Full-Stack Developer | London | £45–65K
About the Company:
Our partner is a cutting-edge digital credit firm transforming the UK credit landscape as the first real-time credit bureau. Backed at seed stage and authorised by the FCA, they’re redefining how credit data is reported and shared among lenders—delivering accurate, real-time insights via modern APIs to improve lending decisions.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a product-focused Full-Stack Engineer (junior to mid-level) with skills in React and Go to join this fast-growing team. You’ll be instrumental in building scalable API services (AWS) and crafting a clean, intuitive SaaS UX (React/Svelte).
Reporting directly to the CTO, you’ll be part of a small, collaborative engineering team with real influence over the architecture, tools, and roadmap.
Responsibilities:
* Design and build the new B2B SaaS interface with a strong eye for UX and design.
* Develop and maintain high-performance Golang microservices.
* Collaborate on system design, implementation, and architecture decisions.
* Uphold high standards for code quality, performance, and security.
Requirements:
* 1+ years of commercial software experience, including:
* At least 1 year building Go APIs
* At least 1 year with React or similar frameworks (Svelte a plus)
* Comfortable with modern CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions).
* Self-starter mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a “build-first” attitude.
* Bonus: Experience in fintech, AWS, or early-stage start-ups.
Compensations & Benefits:
* £45,000–£65,000 base salary, depending on experience.
* 25 days holiday + flexible bank holidays + unlimited unpaid leave.
* Flexible/hybrid working model.
* Employer pension contributions.
* Technical growth budget (e.g., AWS certification, workshops).
* Health & lifestyle perks: cycle-to-work scheme, wellness initiatives.
Our partner is committed to building a diverse team. They welcome applications from all backgrounds and do not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected status.
