Job Title: Development Manager, International Education
Salary: £37,700 - £49,950 (FTE), £30,160 - £39,960 (pro rata)
Location: Cambridge with Hybrid working
Contract: Part time (28 hours per week), Fixed term (12 months)

We are looking for an innovative and versatile Development Manager to commission and develop curriculum support products across our International Education portfolio, as we look to expand on our core strengths and create new opportunities.

About the role
Working across the English, Languages and Arts portfolios, you will collaborate with colleagues across products and services to implement the product roadmap to deliver innovative, market-leading curriculum support resources that have the potential to engage and inspire teachers and students when they most need it. Knowledge and experience of using business systems and software is important when considering product types and our customer needs.
You are committed to the value of customer research to understand the needs of international teachers and students, and to using this insight to inform the development of a pipeline of customer-driven products and services that align to curricula and reflect our core principles.
As Development Manager you will work collaboratively with in-house Qualification, Assessment, Teaching & Learning, Digital, Professional Development, Content, Delivery, Marketing and Sales teams, and externally with teachers and consultants – we put the customer at the heart of everything we do, providing provide effective support to all, whether external or internal.
About you
You are excited about working in education and have a strong desire to understand our customers and the needs and challenges of the international school's market. You will have previous product development experience, including working with authors or external consultants, designing and briefing on product, as well as an understanding of the education market and landscape. You will have experience of editorial and proof-reading skills with an eye for detail. It is desirable to have experience with modern foreign languages or similar language acquisition experience.
