Overview
Equans is recruiting for a Site Supervisor to join our team in Hollingworth Academy, OL16 3DR. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £26,010.00 per annum and benefits package.
Shift pattern
The shift patterns are as follows: 6:00 - 14:00; 10:00 - 18:00; 12:00 - 20:00. If the site has after-school lettings booked in the evening shift, changes to 13:00 - 21:00.
What You Will Deliver
* Undertaking general caretaking duties, including porter services (deliveries, exam set-ups); reactive cleaning (bodily fluid spillages); general maintenance (changing lamps, replacement ceiling tiles); carrying out planned maintenance activities (Legionnaires checks, door condition checks, light switch checks) in all weathers (litter picking, gritting, leaf removal).
* Carry out opening / closing of the building.
* Provide regular support to the school to enable its ability to deliver the teaching curriculum, and communicate with school representatives.
* Undertaking and recording statutory and mandatory planned maintenance duties.
* Log reactive maintenance tasks on the Helpdesk, using CAFM system to provide updates on work orders.
* Proactively carry out a daily regime of “find it, fix it” or report it to the helpdesk and ensure it is followed up and fixed within our service level agreement.
* As part of compliance to statutory duties, undertake and record testing of systems such as emergency lighting, fire alarm tests and sprinkler tests.
* Use a computer, mobile phone and technical equipment; previous experience will be advantageous.
* Support sub-contractor inductions and maintain register of inductions, DBS and RAMS.
* Participate in emergency call outs.
* Provide supervision/management of cleaning team, including weekly audits and cleaning stock management.
* Ensure knowledge of all equipment used on site for cleaning and complete weekly checks on machines.
* Carry out other duties relevant to the position of a Caretaker.
* Undertake additional duties in line with capabilities required.
Working arrangements
Areas of work can be changeable; the individual will travel to an academy or school as required. The Site Supervisor will also cover for sites requiring additional caretaking duties, including lettings and 3rd party lettings, as part of the PFI service. Shift patterns will vary on a 40-hour rotational system between 06:00 and 22:00.
Requirements
For this role you must undergo Enhanced DBS clearance; ability to pass is essential.
