Senior Credit Controller
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Controller to take ownership of the credit control function within a fast-paced, service-led B2B environment. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong financial control mindset who can both manage day-to-day collections and drive process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the end-to-end credit control process across a portfolio of commercial contracts
* Build strong relationships with account managers and clients to improve cash collection
* Review and improve current manual billing and collections processes (Excel-based)
* Monitor aged debt, escalate high-risk accounts, and reduce DSO
* Work closely with billing and finance teams to ensure accuracy of invoicing
* Support improvements in revenue recognition by aligning billing with contract delivery
* Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practice
1. Requirements
* Proven experience in a Senior Credit Controller role within B2B services
* Strong understanding of contract billing (ideally FM or service-led environments)
* Experience working with manual or semi-manual billing processes
* Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
* Process improvement mindset with the ability to challenge existing ways of working
* Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff
