Your new company is a leading provider of integrated asset management for housing associations and local authorities.
In your new role as a Maintenance Planner, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth scheduling of repairs and maintenance works across the Welwyn & Hatfield contract. Based in Welwyn Garden City, you'll liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and operatives to coordinate appointments and ensure service level agreements are met. You'll handle high volumes of calls and emails, using the system to manage schedules and instil confidence in residents-especially those who have experienced service failures.
What you'll need to succeed
* Experience in social housing and repairs/maintenance
* Proven background in scheduling/planning disrepairs, voids, or complex works
* Strong communication skills with operatives, subcontractors, and residents
* Basic knowledge of building maintenance and task durations
* Ability to prioritise and sequence works effectively
* Excellent written English and computer literacy
* Project management and stakeholder communication skills
