Job Title: Systems Management Officer
As a Systems Management Officer, you will be responsible for defining and implementing application management processes to ensure the smooth operation across a portfolio of line of business applications.
This role involves managing resources to deliver high-quality Application Management services, covering a wide range of technologies including Client Server Application Software, Web Applications, Database Systems, and more. You will ensure that these services meet service level agreements, budget constraints, and quality targets. Additionally, you will develop comprehensive support plans and strategies, manage third-party support contracts, and oversee the entire lifecycle of application management, from planning and implementation to decommissioning and documentation.
Your work will support various user environments, including corporate settings, schools, libraries, and youth services, making a significant impact on both business operations and community services.
This position is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act, and appointment will be conditional upon a satisfactory police records check via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
