Walsall MBC is looking for dedicated individuals to join our specialist social work teams supporting people with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and younger adults.
Discover Your Niche:
1. Mental Health Team: Join a well-respected service with strong healthcare partnerships. Here, you'll have opportunities to develop skills in strength-based, recovery-focused interventions, including forensic social work and supporting individuals under the Mental Health Act 1983.
2. Learning Disability Team: Become a named worker and build meaningful, long-term relationships with people of all ages who have a learning disability. This team offers a collaborative, multi-agency working environment.
3. Younger Adults Team: Be part of shaping a newly formed team dedicated to ensuring positive transitions into adult services for young people, including those with EHCPs in education. This is a unique chance to make a real impact in a rewarding area of social work.
