We are excited to recruit a full-time qualified Dental Nurse to join our friendly and welcoming team at Ythan Bridge Dental Centre in Ellon. Trainee applications will also be considered.
Ythan Bridge Dental Centre is a progressive practice located in the heart of Ellon, Aberdeenshire. We offer a range of treatments for children and adults, focusing on maintaining oral health.
Our modern, fully equipped surgeries provide NHS, private, and cosmetic treatments including facial aesthetics, tooth whitening, hygiene, dental implants (including CHROME GuidedSMILE), and clear aligners. We utilize the latest technology to ensure the best results and patient comfort. Our team consists of fully qualified and experienced nurses.
Facilities include free parking, proximity to bus stops, nearby cafes and shops, and scenic views over the river, ideal for lunchtime walks.
Your Role
You will provide chairside support during procedures and assist with daily practice activities. Ensuring excellent patient care while adhering to clinical and safety guidelines is essential. Training on Exact (SOE) is available if needed.
* Create a welcoming environment for patients
* Use Software of Excellence to maintain accurate patient records
* Prepare surgeries for each session to maximize efficiency
* Anticipate clinician and patient needs, prepare lab work and equipment
* Monitor and maintain stock levels
* Assist with reception duties such as answering calls, scheduling, and billing
About You
* GDC registered qualified candidate
* Experience in Private/NHS practices
* Commitment to high standards of patient care
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Enthusiastic with a desire to learn and develop skills
* Implant experience is desirable
