Ideal Recruit is currently seeking a Mechanic / Garage Assistant to join our esteemed client's team in Walkden.
In this role, you will:
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and trailers to VOSA standard.
* Diagnose and resolve various types of faults.
* Assist disabled vehicles at roadside or customer premises.
* Coordinate with third-party vendors to procure parts and maintain stock levels.
* Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices.
* Uphold a high standard of cleanliness and organization within the garage.
* Maintain up-to-date product knowledge through ongoing training opportunities.
