About the Role: Your Impact & Opportunity
This is a pivotal role where you'll be responsible for driving strategic new business across the UK, with a focus on targeting larger B2B end-users. You'll be based in the South, blending home-based work with essential travel across the UK to meet senior stakeholders. Your days will be diverse and impactful:
* Forge New Partnerships: Identify and win new strategic accounts by engaging with senior decision-makers like Procurement, Estates Managers, and Facilities Managers.
* Build Lasting Relationships: Navigate lengthy sales cycles (from 3 months to several years) by truly understanding prospect needs and building rapport across complex decision-making units.
* Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with our internal Account Management team and benefit from the direct support of two externally based Territory Sales Managers who'll help drive your business development strategy.
* Holistic Approach: Utilise a multi-channel outreach strategy, attend key trade shows and events, and even inherit a substantial portfolio of existing clients due to an internal promotion – giving you immediate impact.
* Value-Driven Sales: Move beyond price to articulate long-term operational and financial benefits, showcasing how our solutions improve safety, efficiency, and total cost of ownership for our clients.
* Team Integration: Spend 1-2 days a week at our head office in Verwood, Bournemouth, collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and foster strong internal relationships.

We're seeking a commercially astute sales professional with:
* Proven B2B New Business Acumen: Significant experience in strategic new business sales, ideally within distribution, industrial supplies, or workplace solutions.
* Value-Based Selling Expertise: A demonstrated ability to uncover complex customer needs and align solutions that deliver measurable impact.
* Inquisitive & Analytical Mindset: A genuine curiosity about how businesses operate and a drive to understand client challenges in depth.
* Exceptional Communication: Confidence and skill in engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, from operational teams to senior executives.
* Self-Motivation & Organisation: A strong track record of exceeding targets, managing your time effectively, and working autonomously.
* CRM Proficiency: Comfortable leveraging CRM platforms and sales data to track activity, manage your pipeline, and drive performance.
* Travel Readiness: Happy to travel extensively across the UK as required to meet clients and prospects.
* Full UK Driving Licence: Essential for this field-based role.
