This independent specialist day school provides high-quality education for children and young people with autism and additional needs such as ADHD, speech and language difficulties, sensory issues, and associated behavioural challenges. Rated Good by Ofsted, the school offers a supportive and collaborative environment where clinicians play a vital role in improving outcomes for young people. As part of a joined-up clinical model, you will work closely with educational colleagues to create therapeutic living and learning environments, delivering individualised interventions based on clinical assessment and formulation. Key Responsibilities Provide specialist speech and language therapy interventions for children and young people with autism and associated conditions. Support teams around the child to ensure clinically informed environments and experiences. Deliver assessments, therapy plans, and training for staff. Act as a model, guide, and leader within the multidisciplinary team. Contribute to service development and clinical governance initiatives. Qualifications and Experience HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist. Proven experience working with children and young people with complex needs. Ability to deliver therapeutic interventions and support multidisciplinary teams. Strong organisational and leadership skills. Commitment to achieving the best outcomes for young people.
