As a response to changes in curriculum design, this role has been created in order to contribute to the development and delivery of Business and Management courses including A Level, T Level qualifications in Management and Leadership, and CIPD professional courses. Subject to the successful candidate’s qualification and experience there could also be the opportunity to contribute to Higher Education courses. The successful candidate will take on a course leadership role within the curriculum area and will therefore undertake the related administrative, assessment and verification tasks relevant to the course(s) they lead. As T Levels are fairly new qualifications, it is not essential for applicants to have prior knowledge or experience of this provision type to be successful in this role, as full training will be given within the department. About the Person The successful candidate for this role will contribute to the delivery of a wide range of courses within the business and management subject area and will take a course lead role of a course related to their subject specialism. As such, previous experience of teaching and/or assessing within schools, Further Education or in an adult training setting would be beneficial. The successful candidate must hold a degree in either Business, Management, or a related subject or a professional qualification such as CMI, ILM, or CIPD at a level 5 or above and would ideally have experience of delivering teaching and learning in a school or college environment. The successful candidate should have excellent administration and communication skills, be adaptable and pay attention to detail. Being enthusiastic about and committed to the transformative nature of Further Education is vital as is the ability to work closely with a wide range of stakeholders including students of all ages and employers.
