We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Revit Technician to join our design team. The successful candidate will support the creation and development of production packs for lodge manufacturing in 3D and 2D models using Autodesk Revit, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and creativity. You will be responsible for producing and modifying Revit families, floor plans, and layouts including a test project where you will design a lodge floor plan in Revit.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and modify detailed architectural floor plans, elevations, and sections using Autodesk Revit.
* Create, edit, and manage Revit families to meet project and design requirements.
* Collaborate with the design team to refine and update Revit models based on project feedback.
* Maintain drawing accuracy and ensure compliance with office standards and project guidelines.
* Assist in coordinating Revit models with structural, mechanical, and electrical elements.
* Participate in design reviews and contribute to developing efficient, buildable, and visually appealing designs.
* Produce a Revit floor plan of a lodge as part of the design process or assessment.
Requirements
* Proficient in Autodesk Revit with a strong understanding of modeling principles and workflow.
* Ability to create and edit Revit families accurately and efficiently.
* Experience in developing and modifying architectural floor plans.
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Basic understanding of building design principles, materials, and construction methods.
* Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a design team.
* Relevant qualification in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field (or working toward one).
Desirable Skills:
* Familiarity with rendering or visualiSation tools (e.g., Enscape, Twinmotion).
* Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or other BIM software.
* Knowledge of interior design
