Job Title: CNC Machinist (Miller)
Location: Tewkesbury
Hours: 6am:2pm or day shift 7:30:4 Monday:Thursday and 7:1 Fridays
Salary: A GBP 40,000:42,000 DOE
Are you a skilled CNC Machinist looking for your next challenge? Join a dynamic engineering team producing high:precision components for the Oil and Gas, Aerospace, and Industrial Bronze sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, precision:engineered components in a fast:paced, highly compliant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set, operate, and programme CNC Milling and Mill Turn machines (3, 4, and 5 Axis) to produce high:quality components.
* Collaborate with supervisors and production team members to meet tight production deadlines.
* Complete all necessary production paperwork accurately.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Proven experience operating and programming CNC Milling and multi:axis machinery.
* Knowledge of tooling, speeds/feeds, and fixtures for various materials.
* Experience with FANUC, Okuma QSP:200L, ISO, or Mazatrol programming preferred.
* Live tooling and LEAN manufacturing experience.
* Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, hyperMill, Mastercam).
* Experience with CMM inspection and manual measuring equipment is advantageous.
Qualifications:
* Ideally apprentice:trained with a recognised Engineering Qualification (City and Guilds/HNC).
Personal Attributes:
* Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
* Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
* Enjoys working with complex, precision components and challenging materials.
Other Requirements:
* Adhere to health and safety and security standards.
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation.
* Willingness to take on additional reasonable tasks as required.
