Job Overview
Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Up to £90,000 DOE, welcome bonus up to £5,000 and relocation allowance up to £5,000.
Location: Newbury, United Kingdom.
Responsibilities
* Lead orthopaedic and soft tissue advanced procedures, including fracture fixation and cruciate ligament surgery.
* Perform complex surgeries: TTA, TPLO, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, endoscopy.
* Utilise Qalibra CT scanner and dedicated orthopaedic theatre once installed.
* Provide peri‑operative care with our overnight post‑op facilities.
* Collaborate with the practice team to deliver high‑standard patient and client care.
* Contribute to clinical culture and mentor colleagues.
Qualifications
* Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS.
* Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
* Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
* Proactive approach to learning, openness to feedback and development.
* Professionalism, reliability, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Work Schedule
4 days a week, with a shared on‑call rota. Current coverage: 1 in 15 nights and 1 in 7 weekends. Flexibility for discussion.
