Role: EYFS Teaching Assistant Location: Sleaford, Lincolnshire Start date: January 2026 Contract: January 2026 – July 2026 (part-time, mornings only 5 days per week) Salary: £90-£105 per day (depending on experience, role and/or qualifications). About the role Heart of Supply is looking for a caring and confident EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school from January to July 2026, working mornings and covering the lunchtime period, five days per week. As an EYFS Teaching Assistant you will be support the class teacher in Early Years, helping children develop key skills through play, exploration, and structured learning. Your role will involve assisting with small group activities, supporting individual pupils, and helping to create a positive, nurturing classroom environment. The ideal EYFS Teaching Assistant will have previous Early Years experience and a strong understanding of the EYFS framework. You’ll be confident in promoting positive behaviour and supporting emotional regulation. Experience with behaviour management and de-escalation techniques would be a real advantage, along with a calm, patient approach and the ability to build strong, trusting relationships with both pupils and staff.
