Due to organic growth they are searching for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in Groundworks and Civil Engineering. The company offer a competitive basic salary with pension, private health, company car / allowance and generous bonus scheme. Typical projects include the groundwork / foundations / new build residential projects across Hampshire, Sussex, Wiltshire and Dorset. The ideal candidate will come from either a groundworks or a housebuilder / developer background with a good understanding of groundworks / civils. Role: Groundworks experience. A degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering is desirable. Tender pricing and take off. Commercial management of projects. Monthly valuation preparation. Cost control of projects. Procurement & placement of bespoke material costs. Relationship building with subcontractors, design team, and suppliers. Extensive knowledge of groundworks, ideally with residential experience. A background with groundworks subcontractors would be highly desired.
