The Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Security Officer to join our team at University Hospital Wishaw. You will be observant in helping to reduce/ prevent crime with the hospital and provide a safe and secure environment for Patients, Staff, Visitors. You will be required to regularly patrol the internal and external grounds of the hospital. Security also are required to provide help and advice to Patients, Visitors and Staff. Use of communication equipment Use of monitoring systems Must be capable of writing accurate reports To be competent in the use of all department equipment/ personal protective equipment Whilst it would be an advantage for new members to have had previous experience in the security industry, it is not essential. All staff will be required to undertake on the job training. Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence. It would be great if you also have Previous experience in the security industry, but not essential.
